Refractory Hands-on Training by Mr.Michael Edward Linck at ISA’s workshop
• The participants are from : UJV, CAZ and KTP
• Hands-on Training was conducted according to API 936 Standard.
• Refractory Hands-on Training provides active learning approach (learning by doing) where relevant contractors gain knowledge and
skills through direct experience and practice. Hands-on training’s topics are as following.
– How to build formwork and zee joint
– How to mix castable and self flow material
– How to cast on Mock-up furnace (2 castable materials : Cast 50 & Flow LM 74)
– How to lay brick, prepare mortar and put mortar on brick.
